Meeting 4

October 30th, 2007 · No Comments

Peter and I just had our fourth MAP Meeting. It went quite well. Mostly we talked about my preaching on Sunday. I gave Peter one of the review forms from the MAP manual to fill out after I preached on Sunday. There was no rush with the form but Peter had it filled in and ready for me today. Peter’s review was very positive and I think I improved since my first sermon. The things I was worried about coming across wrong turned out to not be a problem at all. I could have improved on the ending though, like my first sermon this one seemed to come to a rather abrupt ending but Peter assures me this will improve over time. Oh, and next time I’ll try to remember to bring my water so I don’t get a dry mouth again.

We also talked about how my time management has kind of gone out the window this week. I’ve mentioned why I think my time management has been so poor in my last post. Peter and I talk about the depression/job (they feel one and the same at this stage) and how it was affecting my time management and quiet time. Peter gave me some encouragement and it was good to just talk about these things.

I’ve forgotten to email Sam for a while so I must write to him this evening. I have some good news to tell him. After the meeting Peter and I went to the church and hung up one of the banners. It looks really great!
