Apprentice

I had to reschedule this week’s meeting with Peter from Tuesday (the usual) to today. It would have been fine if I didn’t miss it. The meeting completely slipped my mind. Peter was trying to call me but I was still in bed. I felt terrible when I realised what I’d done. I phoned Peter to apologise and he was very gracious. We’ll reschedule again when we meet in Sunday.

I managed to clear off my desk and set up a proper study area in my room today so it wasn’t all bad. This should help with managing my studies and time management in general, so I’m counting it as progress in the Leadership Skills area of my MAP programme.

Something you might find useful: I’ve stumbled upon a website called YouVersion.com, which is still in beta (remember people, beta doesn’t mean “cool”, it means it’s not quite finished yet, the computer geek in me rages against the faddish use labels like this). You can contribute and see other people’s comments on verses of the Bible. It will be much better when they get the “My Version” tab working as it should (beta, tsk) so you can see all of your starred and tagged verses. It looks promising.
