Apprentice

A while ago I posted about an outreach project I was working on for my church. On Monday I went into Cahir after work and walked around going into shops, butchers, the post office, the enterprise centre, the coffee shop. I walked all over, and posted up flyers advertising the free copy of John’s Gospel for anyone that wants one. I was expecting to only get about three flyers up in a few key places - the coffee shop, the bookshop and the library. Well the library seemed to be at least temporarily closed and the bookshop had closed down. The good news is the coffee shop let me stick up a flyer right on their door and I managed to actually stick up way more flyers than I thought I would. In the end I managed to put up ten flyers, for a small town centre that’s a pretty good distribution and it was all the flyers I had.

Now I just wait for people to contact me, so please pray that people notice the flyers and are provoked to think about the Gospel and take up the offer.
