Apprentice

“A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.” - Luke 6:40

About Me

I’m John, a student at the Irish Bible Institute, well actually I’ve just finished my studies (for the moment at least) and graduate this September. I come from Clonmel, County Tipperary and I’ve been a Christian since February 2005. I go to Cahir Presbyterian Church in Cahir Co. Tipperary, run the church website and do various other things there. This blog was set up to journal my progress in the IBI’s Mentoring and Apprenticeship Programme which was a fantastic experience and helped me to gain practical ministry experience working with my church.

Although I’ve finished my studies at the IBI I plan to continue to blog here. I’ll still be an apprentice because that’s what being a Christian is about - being a disciple, a student, an apprentice of Jesus Christ.
